The Vodnik may be slow and ugly, but it is an extremely useful tool on the battlefield when in the right hands
I remember using a vodnik for the first time. Not a great experience I have to admit! I was left wondering why on earth anyone would make such a slow weak and ugly vehicle. Especially one to fight battles with. The only chance of survival is the 50 cal machine gun mounted on the roof. You can spin around a full 360 spraying bullets A-Team style across the battlefield. This gun will overheat before you run out of ammo so remember to use short bursts of fire from the vodnik.
watch out for people sticking C4 to your vodnik when in the mounted gun!
The Vodnik has one main talent. Along with its numerous faults the Vodnik has a nice little secret to offer to the battlefield 2 world.
As you may have noticed there's lots of roofs in the game that are just out of reach. Until now that is! Find your self a Vodnik hop in and take a drive round and select a nice vantage point that over looks a busy area on the battlefield. Park your vodnik next to the wall. Now jump up the front of the Vodnik on to the roof ( that's the easy part ). Next jump onto the gun turret ( not so easy, believe me. ) Once your on the gun turret it's just one more simple jump onto your chosen roof.
Hey presto your in a place no one else will bother to look for you. Just lie down and rack up those kills. Don't worry about the Vodnik, it will blow up eventually leaving you on your own in your little hiding place!
Don't over estimate the Vodnik
Remember that the vodnik can't fly, not even just a little bit. This poor sod is about to meet a sticky end as he plummets to his certain death. Its a long way down from the blown up bridge (left) on "Mashtur city"
